Boundary village upon river Tichá Orlice, eastern of Žamberk. First mentioned in the year 1350. Since 1577 the small-town. Upon the river, at the place called Bílý zámek, there was the castle from the year 1513. Today you can see there the rests of walls and moats. The Baroque church of St. John the Baptist from the year 1697 was rebuilt in years 1732-44. In 16th century the glass works had worked there. Mladkov is the starting point for trips to mountain Suchý vrch. |
